DO YOU OFFER VEGAN AND GLUTEN-FREE ITEMS?
At this time, we do not offer gluten-free or vegan cakes or desserts. Our kitchen works with traditional ingredients such as wheat flour, dairy, and eggs on a daily basis, and we are unable to guarantee the level of separation or ingredient sourcing required to safely produce allergen-friendly or fully plant-based products.
We prefer to be upfront about this so customers with dietary restrictions can make the safest and most informed choice. If we ever expand into specialty-diet recipes in the future, we’ll be sure to announce it.
HOW DO I ORDER A CAKE?
The easiest way to start the cake-ordering process is to complete the order inquiry form, sending an email or contacting us via WhatsApp. Please be as specific as possible so we have enough information to get you an accurate price. Also please feel free to include pictures or ideas, as well as how many people you will need to serve. We will then contact you to discuss your order.
DO YOU REQUIRE A DEPOSIT?
Custom cakes and desserts require a 50% non-refundable deposit to hold the date. Full payment of the remaining balance is due 7 days prior to the date for collection/pickup. Our accepted payment methods are Local Bank Transfer or cash. Please refer to our terms and conditions for additional information.
HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD I PLACE MY ORDER?
As soon as you know you want a cake, of course! Bookings are made on a first come, first pay basis. We are a microbakery and are limited in the number of orders we can accept each week. Orders should be placed at least 10 to 14 days in advance. Each cake we create is completely custom from start to finish, which means we do not have any pre-made cakes for sale, and cannot complete cake orders placed day of.
DO YOU ACCEPT LAST MINUTE ORDERS?
Yes, if our schedule permits. However, you will be required to make payment in full upon receipt of the invoice. We highly recommend reviewing the options offered in Abi's Signature Shop for last minute orders.
CAN I CANCEL MY ORDER?
Custom order cancellations are subject to our cancellation policy. Signature Shop orders cannot be cancelled or refunded.
HOW MANY SERVINGS DOES EACH CAKE SIZE PROVIDE?
Serving sizes vary depending on how the cake is cut. We can guide you based on your guest count.
CAN I REQUEST A FLAVOUR THAT ISN'T ON THE MENU?
We occasionally accommodate special flavour requests depending on availability and testing requirements.
HOW DO I KNOW WHAT CAKE SIZE TO ORDER?
Tell us your guest count and we’ll recommend the best size based on standard serving portions.
CAN I CUSTOMISE A SIGNATURE SHOP CAKE?
Signature Shop items are sold as listed and cannot be customised beyond the options offered. For custom work, please use our order form.
WHY IS THERE NO REFUND FOR SIGNATURE SHOP ORDERS?
These items are prepared within a short production window using perishable ingredients and reserved availability.
CAN I CHANGE MY PICKUP DATE AFTER ORDERING FROM THE SIGNATURE SHOP?
Changes may not be possible due to production scheduling.
